[releases] GAMS Dist. 22.6 Beta Announcement

GAMS Users,

We would like to announce the availability of the 22.6 Beta Distribution 
(6 December, 2007).  Distribution 22.6 includes support for two new 
platforms, Solaris 64-bit on Sparc and 32-bit executables for MacOS 
running on 32- or 64-bit Intel chips.  In addition, there are newly 
available solver libraries (including CPLEX 11) and minor enhancements 
in the GAMS system (including better Office 2007 support).

If you are interested in experimenting with this beta release, you can 
download the software and documentation at

The beta release phase is scheduled to continue through December 19, 
2007.  Beta release notes can be found at

     http://www.gams.com/docs/release/release_beta.htm.

If you have suggestions or find problems in the beta release please 
contact betatest@gams.com.

All bug reports leading to improvements will be acknowledged online in 
the official release notes.
