Accessing documentation outside the IDE

Much of the documentation on GAMS and solvers discussed above is also accessible in other applications by navigating to the docs subdirectory of the GAMS system and opening the PDF files in the subdirectories thereof.  The mccarl Guide is accesses through the /docs/bigdocs/gams2002 subdirectory of the GAMS system directory (nominally c:\program files\gams22.7 ) and the file gams2002pdf.pdf or the file mccguide.html.  Material on use of the guide is also in the file.
