MILES is a solver for mixed complementarity problems and nonlinear systems of equations developed by T. Rutherford, University of Colorado. MILES is freely distributed with GAMS but is of lesser capability than the other available solvers. The solution procedure is a generalized Newton method with a backtracking line search. The MILES manual is on MILES.pdf. There are two alternative named MILES versions.
