If you have a problem using GAMS please don't hesitate to contact us.

There are several reasons why you may want some help:

• you think GAMS does not do what it should do
• the solver has problems in solving your model
• you are stuck with a modeling or formulation problem
• GAMS has problems with your hardware or operating system

Of course we cannot do all the modeling work for you (unless you hire us as a consultant) but we have lots of experience in using GAMS in both small and large, complex modeling situations in all kind of different application areas, ranging from economics to chemical engineering. Just talking to us for a few minutes may put you on the right track again.

In case you think GAMS or the solver fails, please provide us with as much relevant information as possible, such as:

• What platform (machine, operating system)?
• How big is the model?
• What is it for a model (linear, nonlinear etc)?
• What solver is used?
• A detailed description of the symptoms.
• Is the problem reproduceable?
• Does the problem only happen with one particular model or also with other models?
• If possible a copy of the input files.
• And of the listing files.
• If you want to send the model in scalar format, click here for conversion information.
• Did you try it on other machines? If so, what were the results.
• And any other information
