GAMSPy Student Competition 2025

Are you ready to put your GAMSPy skills to the test? This is your opportunity to win more than just good grades! If you are using GAMSPy, our Python tool, during the 2025 academic year, we invite you to submit your model and compete for an iPad.

How to Participate

Submit a GAMSPy project you developed that demonstrates a complete workflow, including:

  • Data Ingress: Efficient and clean integration of data into your model.
  • Optimization Process: Demonstration of high-quality, efficient mathematical optimization.
  • Visual Output: Clear, insightful, and visually engaging presentation of your results.

Evaluation Criteria

  • Originality and Relevance: Fresh ideas and topicality of the model.
  • Project Duration: We expect higher complexity from long-term projects (e.g., Master’s theses). Note: full PhD projects are excluded.
  • Presentation & Workflow: Well-documented and comprehensive submission (Jupyter Notebook or Graphical UI, self-contained). The notebook must be easy to follow.
  • Code Quality: Readable, well-organized code with clear naming, comments, and structure.

All submissions must be in English.
