# User Contributed Software and Tools

Some of our users have developed software that helps them use GAMS more efficiently or enables them to interface GAMS with other systems or software packages they use to do their work. If you would like to contribute some of your software, we can help you to make it publicly accessible - just drop us a line.

• amalGAMS - A GAMS GUI/Interface for Mac
• Wolfgang BritzGGIG - A GAMS Graphical Interface Generator with a report generator (tables, graphs, maps) that natively works on Windows and Mac OS
• Ingo Huck: GMS-Manager - A modern GAMS IDE including auto complete, error underlining, symbol search, editable gdx-files, gdx-statistics, search functions for gdx-files and charts
• Josef KallrathCalibrating a computer to GAMS and CPLEX. The purpose of this Time Calibration tool is to determine the time characteristics of the computer on which GAMS and a GAMS/CPLEX application should run, and to trace its time behavior over time, for instance, to identify a serious degradation of the computer.
• Erwin Kalvelagen (Amsterdam Optimization): Packaging Optimization Applications
• KANORSVEDA-BE - A VErsatile Data Analyst - a software dedicated to the analysis of data and results obtained from a broad variety of mathematical models or data bases. VEDA is a powerful and user friendly tool for the construction of analyst tables and graphs to help in the analysis of results from complex mathematical models.
• LEI GAMS tools:

• GTree - a tool to show the structure of the GAMS code (as a result of all the $include$batinclude$libinclude$sysinclude statements) in a tree
• GAMS Simulation Environment (GSE) - a professional user interface for GAMS models, which is easy in use and implementation and with many additional functions.
• GAMS and R

• Andrew James MasonSolverStudio for Excel - An integrated environment for optimisation using modelling languages within Excel.
• Bruce McCarl:

• GAMSCHK - A System for Examining the Structure and Solution Properties of Linear Programming Problems Solved using GAMS
• GAMSBAS - Saves an advanced basis which a user may later use in subsequent solves by including the basis
