The 2020 GOR Award for Diploma and Master Theses

Each year, GAMS donates EUR 500 to each of the three winners of the price for excellent Diploma- and Master Theses, organized by the German Society for Operations Research. This year’s awardees are:

  1. Pia Ammann: An Adaptive Large Neighbourhood Search for a Real-World Multi-Attribute Vehicle Routing and Scheduling Problem
    (TU München, Supervisor: Prof. Dr. Rainer Kolisch)
  2. Erik Diessel: Risk Aware Flow Optimization and Application to Logistics Networks
    (TU Kaiserslautern, Supervisor: Prof. Dr. Sven Krumke)
  3. Sarah Roth: SAT Heuristics for the Periodic Event Scheduling Problem
    (FU Berlin, Supervisor: Prof. Dr. Ralf Borndörfer)
