Dr. André Schnabel has a PhD in economics from the Leibniz University Hanover, Germany. Besides his studies in computer science and research on project scheduling he developed and sold one of the first non-official clones of Minecraft for mobile devices back in 2011 and did contract-based work as an external software developer. His current interests include applying machine learning methods for building algorithmic performance models and functional programming languages.
